Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo insists his side need to improve on their worse home form after drawing 1-1 at Chelsea.

“It was a very good game with great effort from both teams. We played and created.”

“The second half was a good half for the audience. We controlled the game well. There is no other way to play against a big team. If you don’t unite, it’s difficult.”

“We blocked in the middle of the pitch and handled the one-on-ones well from the wings. The game dragged on, we had good chances, and then Chelsea had good chances as well.”

“The goalkeepers did a great job from both sides.”

Speaking about away form, “We don’t make a difference playing both inside and outside the house.”

“We have to assess why we don’t get results at UFABET the City Ground. We do very well away from home but not so well at home. The problem is to fix what happened at the City Ground.”

On Chris Wood: “He’s done a great job for us. Chris is always up for it.”

On Morgan Gibb-White, who limp off injury: He will be assess and tomorrow he will have a scan to see if he can play for the national team. I hope everything goes well.”

On the team’s defensive strength with only five goals conceded so far this season: “It’s always important, no matter who your opponent. You have to realise what strengths they have and how to control them. The team has been solid and compact but it’s about teamwork. [It is] not only the defensive line and midfield, it starts with pressure from the front. It’s going to be very important against Chelsea because they have good players and play good football.”
